Cleveland Browns (-1.5) @ Tennessee Titans
I talk about my reasons for choosing the Browns here.
Update: I was mistaken and Lamar Jackson is out, I’m inserting Atlanta Falcons (+2.5) v San Francisco 49ers
Carolina Panthers (-2.5) vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Baker Mayfield is going to be back. But I’m not sure how he’s going to look after dislocating his thumb on his throwing hand. But on top of that, I believe the Panthers are just flatly the better team. I trust Bryce Young and this offense, and I don’t trust the Bucs and their offense, no matter who’s under center. Plus Carolina is at home.
Green Bay Packers (+3) @ Detroit Lions
I’m starting to buy in to Jordan Love. If you only saw the box score from last week’s game against the Cowboys you might be confused. But if you watched it, you know what I’m talking about. He is chucking the ball downfield with great precision and accuracy, and I’d imagine that his receivers will catch a few more of those passes because they are hitting them in the hands. The Lions have no hope of stopping anyone on defense, and Jordan Love can take advantage. The Packers’ defense has also improved, even without getting Micah Parsons back yet.
Kansas City Chiefs (+2.5) @ Seattle Seahawks
I know Seattle is at home, but I believe in this Chiefs team. But more so, I’m worried about Sam Darnold and what he has looked like lately. It’s a week away from Halloween, but he’s starting to see the ghosts early. Ken Walker III will be motivated to whoop the Seahawks, and Patrick Mahomes can win any game that he’s a part of. I love betting the Chiefs as underdogs, it just always is a shaky situation if you bet them as the favorite. +2.5 is more than enough here because I think they are winning the game outright.
