lil dickey (134.50) vs. Josh Allen’s Big Hands (158.72)
There was an opportunity here for Shar to win, but Kevin’s team is named after Josh Allen for a reason. He’s always capable of putting up numbers like he did Sunday.
And I hate you went out on a 7 game losing streak. I could not imagine that pain.
I hope all is well in Alliance tonight, even though one person may be sleeping in the living room on the couch cushion that I once slept on.
Thank you Shar for being the newest member of our league here, and I hope to have you again next year.
Better Call Wall (148.26) vs. Adrian BeaterSon (116.58)
Mark Andrews and Leonard Fournette were the story here. And shout-out to Ben Roethlisberger, because I called him cooked every week earlier this year, and while he is still cooked, he is playing very well in the second halves of these games.
Max, I appreciate the effort, but it was a tough year. Good luck in other leagues, and I’ll see you next year.
The Ruggs and the Furious (155.22) vs. Team Hammered Shit (124.56)
Ryan, I think Urban Meyer personally cost you a playoff spot, because the fuckery all year with James Robinson was unbelievable. Between him, Antonio Gibson, and Travis Kelce, you had solid pieces. But they didn’t show up.
The Chiefs kicked the Raiders ass so bad, they didn’t have to pass, so Kelce gets three points. And on the other side you have the best receiver in football torch you. Don’t feel alone because Adams going ape shit kept me out of the playoffs in Gary’s league, so I understand.
Danny was willing to sacrifice his own win to get a Browns win with Lamar going down, but he didn’t have to. Saquon scored a touchdown but I wouldn’t get used to that, because the Giants are bad, and he scored against a DB that would have prevented him from scoring in a closer game.
And now it’s that time of the week!
That man’s Mama named him Marquise, so I’mma call him Marquise.
AK-41 (188.84) vs. Winner Circle Dak Back (191.06)
If too little, too late was a person. What a time for the squad to show up and get a big win when it didn’t matter.
As of writing this, I don’t know if Gary will still be the #1 seed or not, because he’ll be tied with Kevin. It doesn’t matter this coming week, but whoever is the #2 seed might have to see ya boy™️ in the second round. And that’s dangerous. Considering Cero Miedo LLC has the two single highest scoring performances this year, but I’m getting ahead of myself.
Big Brother Almighty – hate to see it end here, I wanted some success for you, but it didn’t work out that way. We’ll see you here next year though.
Cero Miedo (225.10) vs. Team Pezzato (184.88)
October 26, 2008.
Think about how old you were in that year, and think about what you could’ve been doing in October of that month.
On this day specifically, I know exactly what six members of this league were doing that day. I don’t know for certain, but I’m sure a seventh member was there. And there is possibility of an eighth, but maybe not.
And the other two members of the league have no clue what the fuck I’m talking about.
So let me explain. October 26, 2008 was week 10 of the high school football season. And during this week was a little something called the Holy War. Ed’s vs. Ignatius.
Ed’s lost to Ignatius 34-12. But because we had a 6-4 record, we still made the playoffs which started in a week. And who was our opponent? You guessed it, St. Ignatius again.
I can’t speak for anyone else, but I thought we had a chance in the playoffs. It’s hard to beat a team twice in a row, I thought to myself. They can’t be that good, right?
Wrong. They beat us 37-0.
I say all that to say this. Paige, you might think to yourself, it’s hard to beat a team twice in a row. Brandon can’t be that good.
Congrats on making the playoffs, but your reward is to play me again. I will not lie, I’m scared shitless of Jonathan Taylor coming back. And anything is possible with Justin Herbert. But I have the walking 40 point game himself, Tyreek Hill. And the Runner-up for fantasy MVP, Cooper Kupp.
So yeah, we are that good. So good luck 😘
And P.S., that Ignatius team won state.
