Drew P. Weenar (72.3) vs. Josh Allen’s Big Hands (215.24)
I mean good lord, 72 points. Burke’s team went crazy of course but holy shit. This was way worse than last week’s byes. Adams having covid didn’t get you off to a good start, but my goodness.
Seeing who was out and who was on bye, you couldn’t do much, but 72 points might be something I haven’t seen before in this league.
lil dickey (138.14) vs. Winner Circle Dak Back (169.16)
The irony of a team called Dak Back winning in a week Dak Prescott was hurt is not lost on me. Congrats on the victory, I’m glad you’re not alone at the bottom any more ๐
Shar, I may have jinxed you with my praise last week, but I may also have to change it up and give you the Gary treatment Matt Ryan might be cooked, and without Calvin Ridley on the squad, it could get a lot worse. Corradelle Patterson be damned.
Eric Cole Beasley was on my bench for five minutes, and if I wasn’t so fixated on Deshaun Watson, those 20 points would’ve been on my bench. So just know that.
Super Ja’Mario (162.38) vs. Adrian BeaterSon (123.84)
I just knew D’Andre Swift was gonna kill me. I was thinking about it all week, how he was gonna roast me for multiple catches and multiple goal line touchdowns. And then Jamaal Williams was inactive. I was terrified. I thought Hopkins and Tonyan combining for 15 points was gonna kill me.
But the Lions shit the bed.
And then Kenneth Gainwell put on Harry Potter’s invisibility cloak and picked up the Marauder’s Map.
(I have no idea if anyone will get that, but trust me.)
You got A.J. Brown to show up, and Ekeler to do his thing, but absolutely no one else. Damn.
AK-41 (181.70) vs. Team Pezzato (172.78)
So close but yet, so far away. Darrel Williams got close, but not close enough.
Sam Darnold has not gotten it done, and Mike Williams got locked up by the Patriots and hasn’t looked the same in the last few weeks.
Gary, Taylor Heinicke almost got you beat this week, so you see my issue I had with him. He’s a great backup, but starting for any long period of time is a bad idea for him. But it worked out for you.
So congrats.
Better Call Wall (109.20) vs. Team Hammered Shit (107.52)
So the game is in progress currently, but do we need to have a conversation about Travis Kelce? Bad look for the heights right now.
More importantly, bad look for Ryan, because he can’t outscore Kadarius Toney right now. Two months ago, someone would’ve slapped me if I said those words out loud.
4th quarter, Toney is out, Chiefs need to pass, Ryan down by 6. Let’s see what happens.
Damn.
Kelce dropped a first down catch which I think would’ve been the difference in the score. That’s a tough look.
But let’s talk about how the total score of this matchup is less than the matchup that had a team score 72 points.
I know you can’t plan for the best offensive player in football playing on a broken foot, or Mac Jones having more points than Kyler Murray, but wow.
Ave, congrats on the win, because the squad is looking suspect after news about Ridley, Jameis, Henry, and losing Gronk again. Good luck my guy.
